Many commonly used building materials can be used for the dome coating. Coating can be heat-insulating and protective, hard or soft (according to mechanical properties), transparent or light-protecting, sheet, roll, spray and lubricant. According to your requirements, we select an optimal glass coating formula dependent on the purpose of the building, solar control solutions, fire safety, aesthetic and other requirements. Options available include:
Secure and reinforced glass
Tempered glass 4mm-20mm is used when additional safety and glass firmness are required. Tempered glass can be used in both single-layer systems and glass packets. Glass is tempered by heating and quick cooling. This makes glass about 5 times stronger. One of the key features of tempered glass is safety during its breakage. In case of glass breakage, it breaks into small cubic pieces without sharp corners, thus protecting people from injuries.
Laminated safe glass
Here, an elastic transparent film is inserted between two sheets of glass. In the event of glass breakage, glass particles remain attached to the film and do not fall down. Also, the film between the glass sheets provides extra strength. It can be used in single-layer or glass packet systems.
Fireproof reinforced glass
Fire-resistant glass is commonly used for partitions and doors. In case of fire, the glass remains much the same for a long time and prevents the fire from spreading from one room to another. A metal wire mesh is inserted inside the glass.
Light and heat control
Two options are available for heated glass:
- Exterior heated glass for snow defrosting; and
- Interior heated glass to control condensate.
Electrochromic glass allows you to control light penetration with the help of a controller (controlled using an Android or Apple phone). With the help of a weak electric current, the glass is fitted with a mesh that replaces the glass crystal structure, thus making it less conductive to light. This is an excellent choice especially when it is not possible to install internal or external solar control elements.
Glass with UV ray control
Here glass is covered with a special film which controls UV rays. Benefits include reduced thermal radiation and harmful UV exposure.
Coloured PVC tent
Tent is an extremely versatile material. It is long-lasting, elastic and easy to maintain. A range of ten material colours are available for selection. This coating is non-combustible according to DIN 4102 B1. Material weight is 600gr/m2-1500gr/m2.
Transparent PVC tent
All dome covers, dome sections or doors can be made of transparent PVC tent. Tent thickness is 0.4mm to 1.5mm. Transparent and sun-proof tent segments are available in any combination.
Mesh PVC tent
Mesh tent can be used to create a small shadow or indoor domes for exhibitions. A wide variety of design solutions can be created from the tent. It can be used both indoors and outdoors.
Blackout tents completely hold back the light. It consists of three layers: traditional tent + black tent layer + traditional tent.
Reinforced transparent tent
A transparent reinforced tent is most commonly used when the dome is completely transparent and transparent parts require extra strength as a result of the potential snow or wind loads.
Polycarbonate is many times stronger than and almost twice as lightweight as ordinary glass. It is highly shock resistant, and is therefore a major attribute of anti-vandal materials. Polycarbonate has excellent acoustic properties. Additional coatings for polycarbonate give resistance to UV rays, while surface coating with coloured or mirror films is also available. It is perfect for seasonal domes, dome greenhouses, and dome bungalows. Several types of polycarbonate are available, including:
It is used for ventilated facades and facade finishes. A 3-4 mm thick composite board consists of two sheets of aluminium and a plastic or mineral filler in-between them. A large selection of colours and surface textures, including customized digital printing is available from 300m2.
We use multilayer insulation plates for dome coatings. Plates consist of two hard PVC coating layers with a polyurethane filler. The following combinations of this plate with an external coating are available: painted, galvanized, aluminium, copper tin or with an aluminium composite plate.
- Steel coloured or galvanized sheet Z275.
- COR-TEN self-corrosive decorative tin.
- Galvanized tin S350GD + Z275, thickness of 0.45mm to 1.5mm.
- Pure or painted aluminium tin.
- Pure zinc or copper tin.
A popular choice for covering roofs of residential houses. Bitumen tiles are easily curved and shaped, making it easy to adapt to curved dome shapes. A wide selection of shapes and colours are available, and installation is simple and straightforward.
Woodchips or so-called timber tile cover. Great choice for those looking for a more natural dome cover. Woodchips are mainly made of aspen timber since this timber is the most resistant to rotting. Woodchips isolate sound well and easily remove water vapour.
Traditional roof coating ideal for domes. In addition to their elegant looks, reeds are easy to shape to fit curved dome shapes. In addition to fire protection, reeds are sprayed with a special impregnant, while the natural wax properties provide long-lasting protection against moisture.
Traditional insulation material that is easy to process and form. The basis of the structure is mineral rock.
It is also classified as a mineral insulation material. It is more flexible than rockwool. Great acoustic properties.
Hemp fibre wool
It is the most natural insulation wool with the lowest number of foreign additions. Made of natural fibres. It is classified as the most environmentally friendly insulation material.
Straw is compressed into rectangular bundles. Straw bundles are used both as insulation and as a construction material. It is usually used together with the inner and outer layer of clay.
It is an extremely light insulation material with good thermal properties. It is easy to form and adapt to constructions. Resistant to biological effects.
Innovative heat insulation material that is extracted at the construction site by mixing two components and spraying on the surface. It may be used to cover any type of surface. Extremely high thermal properties.
Sprayed cork coating is used as a final layer of the facade system. It can be used for insulated and cold constructions. Wide choice of colours, excellent waterproofing and thermal properties. Used above ground.
Sprayed waterproofing material. A continuous seamless waterproof layer is obtained after spraying. It can be used to cover any type of horizontal or vertical surface. Best mechanical strength and reliability.
It is also a great choice when a part or all of the dome is hidden under the ground. The following three types of waterproofing are available: roller coating, mechanically lubricated liquid bitumen, and sprayed bitumen.
