ORTZ spatial frame system
The versatility of the ORTZ spatial system is attractive to the designers of various types of buildings. This system is used in many types of buildings where large spatial dimensions or high-load resistance is required, in particular, sports arenas, supermarkets, airplane and machinery hangars, and industrial pavilions.
The main advantages of this system are as follows:
- It may be used for all types of structures;
- Span dimension up to 300 m without columns;
- Fast design process;
- Efficient structure assembly (up to 3,500 m2 per month);
- High component accuracy;
- Aesthetically attractive parametric design frame system;
- Convenient storage and transportation.
Galvanising
Additional coating of zinc structures is available before painting – 20 mcr.
Painting
25-200mcr. thick powder coating of structural elements. RAL palette.
Anti-corrosion categories
Selection of anti-corrosive coatings by matching the thickness of zinc and paint coats. Available categories C1 to C5.
The spatial ORTZ system consists of two main components of a spherical knot and a round pipe crossbar. A spherical knot is made of a solid construction steel ball with an individual angled thread for fastening a pipe crossbar. Crossbars are structural tubes with threaded ends. A two-way thread system has the benefit of reducing the number of mounting operations. Thus, the installation is quick and the adjustment of the frame element length ensures precision during the installation. During the operation, it is possible to easily replace individual physically damaged elements without dismantling the entire structure.
The SLO single-layer frame system
The SLO single-layer system is commonly used in combination with glass facades and roofs. It perfectly goes with free-shaped structures of a “shell” type or skylights. The SLO system perfectly redistributes the compression loads, making it possible to achieve large-sized span dimensions for the glass facade systems with extreme aesthetics. The structures are so thin that they visually hide behind glass joints and transmit a lot of natural light.
The main advantages of this system are as follows:
- It goes perfectly with free-shaped structures;
- Fast design process;
- Aesthetic frame system;
- Small self-weight of the structures, considering a large span dimension;
- Extremely high structure assembly accuracy;
- Convenient storage and transportation.

Anti-corrosion categories
Selection of anti-corrosive coatings by matching the thickness of zinc and paint coats. Available categories C1 to C5.
The SLO single-layer system consists of two main components of a cylindrical knot and a rectangular pipe crossbar. A cylindrical knot is made of a solid construction steel with an individual angled thread for fastening a pipe crossbar. Crossbars are rectangular structural tubes with double-threaded ends. A two-way thread system has the benefit of reducing the number of installation operations. Thus, the installation is quick and the adjustment of the frame element length ensures precision during installation. During the operation, it is possible to easily replace individual physically damaged elements without dismantling the entire structure.
T-STAR universal system
T-STAR is a unique VikingDome system. It can be used as a single layer or transformed into a spatial structure. A star-shaped assembly is connected with frame elements (hinges) by using screws. Many types of frame materials such as steel, aluminium, constructional and glued timber, as well as glass fibre profiles are suitable for this system of assemblies. T-shaped profile is the most commonly used profile. However, there are other options of frame profiles (U-shaped, C-shaped, angular, H profiles or HEB profiles).
The main advantages of this system are as follows:
- Universal system for single-layer and spatial bearing structures;
- Small metal self-height does not block light;
- Cables for glass heating, window automatics and lighting are easily concealed in structural elements;
- Pre-made components for a quick installation.
Application: It can be used almost with all types of domes, roof windows, and engineering equipment. It is used for recreational, commercial and industrial-warehousing purpose building structures or their parts (roofs, large skylights).

Retractable roof and openable facade systems
Skylights opening up to 150 m wide for stadiums, public and other recreational buildings. While combining several different spatial, single-layer frame systems and automation solutions, we can build a single or two-piece opening roof of an “eye” type. With the help of huge skylights or opening facade elements, the enclosed space will turn into an open space within a few minutes. The facade elements that can be opened to the top or the sides are also used in the dome-shaped structures.

- Stadiums;
- Swimming pools and water parks;
- Commercial and multifunctional centres;
- Conference pavilions;
- Shipyards;
- Aviation industry.
Hot-rolled steel profiles:
- The following profile forms are available: T, U, C, L-shaped angles, H and HEB.
Cold-shaped steel profiles:

Anodised aluminium
Anodising of aluminium products makes an extremely easy to clean surface and increases corrosion resistance.
Glass fibre profile shapes: T, U, C, L-shaped angles, H and HEB. Standard colour is grey.
Glass fibre construction profiles are used everywhere where specific anti-corrosive or hygienic requirements are applied.
Glass fibre products can be used for the chemical industry, food industry, sewage treatment plant, textile and paper industry, construction, bridge construction, tunnel construction, installations used on the high seas, bridge construction, and tunnel construction.
It can be used for the STAR and T-STAR system assemblies.
Glass fibre benefits:
- Corrosion resistant;
- High mechanical resistance;
- Low weight;
- Chemical resistant;
- Good dielectric properties;
- Anti-magnetic, does not cause radio interference;
- Heat and cold resistant;

- Painting in various colours is available;
- Simple installation and processing.
Glued timber bearing structures are high-tech straight or curved timber frame elements. Such structures are up to 80% stronger and up to 40% more rigid compared to the conventional solid timber structures of the same dimensions.
The main benefits of glued wood are as follows:
